ROCO was delighted to attend the recent open days hosted by Garriock Bros LTD on the 24th and 25th of April in Edinburgh. The two-day event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with both new and existing customers while showcasing some of the latest innovations in hybrid electric crushing and screening equipment.
Representing ROCO on site were Shane Connolly, Managing Director, alongside Patrick Cannon, UK Sales Representative, who were on hand throughout the event to welcome visitors, discuss machinery solutions, and strengthen relationships across the industry.
Garriock Bros did an outstanding job presenting their impressive facility and creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone in attendance. On display from ROCO were two of our flagship machines, the Hybrid Electric Ryder 1000 Jaw Crusher and the Sprinter 1500 Scalping Screener. Both machines attracted strong interest throughout the event, highlighting the growing demand for efficient, high-performance hybrid electric equipment within the quarrying and recycling sectors.
It was also a pleasure to spend time with the excellent team at Garriock Bros, including George, Michael, Fiona, and many others who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the open days. Their professionalism, hospitality, and dedication to customers truly reflected the values both of our companies share.
Speaking after the event, Patrick Cannon commented:
“This was my first time visiting Garriock Bros facility in Scotland and it was a fantastic opportunity to finally meet the Garriock team face to face. We already had a strong working relationship in place, but events like this really help strengthen those connections even further. It was great to spend time with the team, meet customers, and see firsthand the excellent work Garriock Bros are doing.”
ROCO Managing Director Shane Connolly also praised the event and the efforts of the Garriock team:
“The Garriock team pulled off a fantastic event over the two days. The facility was presented exceptionally well and really showcased both the professionalism of the business and the range of services they offer. We are proud to work alongside companies like Garriock who share the same values and commitment to customer support.”
At ROCO, we see many similarities between ourselves and Garriock Bros. Both companies have long-established roots within the quarrying industry and strong foundations as family-run businesses. These shared values are incredibly important to us. We pride ourselves on working with like-minded businesses and dealers who place customer satisfaction, service, and long-term relationships at the centre of everything they do.
Events like this are a great reminder of the importance of strong partnerships and industry collaboration. We would like to thank everyone who attended the open days and especially the entire team at Garriock Bros for their hospitality and support. We look forward to continuing to grow our partnership together in the future.
